Layia is the solo project of musician Alyson Randles from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She uses a combination of field recordings and ambient layers of live vocals and instruments to evoke feelings of an eerily comfortable, lucid dream. We discovered Layia through our friends at Bleep In The Dark where she performed a totally hypnotic, expansive set. We’re so excited to see where this new project leads!
